WISQARS is the Center for Disease Control's Web-based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting System which is useful for information about hospitalizations and cause of death (e.g. suicide).

The Health Resources and Services Administration has a search tool that allows a user to identify Health Professional Shortage Areas. These areas are good to note. Most of Alaska is in a HPSA, except notably the City of Ketchikan. I beleive knowing and areas classification is helpful for loan repayment and appyling for grants.
